On the 9th & 10th of February 2024, Credo World School, Dhanbad hosted its Annual Sports Day, a day filled with fervour and excitement experienced amidst thrills, shrills and cheers. The chief guest for the day was Shree Varun Ranjan (IAS), Deputy Commissioner Dhanbad. We were also honoured to welcome our special guest Mr. Sunil Agarwal.
The day started off with the lovely rendition by the choir to pay salutations to the Lord Almighty. This was followed by the Inter-House March Past, a highly vibrant and vivid event where the four houses seized everyone's attention. The audience next witnessed highly awaited athletic events where competitiveness among the students soared through the roof. Another highlight of the day was the lighting of the Presidency Torch. All impressive perfomances by the Credonians kept the audience enthralled.
The Closing Ceremony was kindled by the presence of Ms. Sangita Kumari, an International Football player. The games organized for the , parents saw an impressive participation.
At the end of the day, students departed with a clear smile on their faces as the Aquila House emerged as House Champions. It was a day filled with sportsmanship, enthusiasm and memories to cherish. The Director Mr. Harshit Agarwal and the principal of this esteemed institution, Mrs. Sharmila Sinha thanked all the teachers for their cooperation and support and advised children to keep up their sportsman spirit.
